ILLUSTRATION & ANIMATION WORK
Pursuing a passion
Ever since I could hold a pencil I’ve loved drawing. For the past several years, this love has evolved into a daily drawing practice as well as exploration into animation and the blending of illustration and animation with my design work. Below is a selection of projects that have resulted from this exploration and you can head to my Instagram to see more.
Haas formula 1 race poster
After getting addicted to Netflix’s ‘Drive to Survive’ docuseries, I made sure to mark my calendar for every race of the 2022 F1 season. Yes, even when those races start at 2am. To mark this new found love of racing, I set to work designing and illustrating a race poster for the Austin-based United States Grand Prix featuring the Haas F1 team.

Personal animations
Over the past few years, I have dove into the world of animation and have developed a love for the process. As soon as I got my hands on Adobe After Effects, I knew that animation could be a powerful tool to pair with my love of illustration and design in order to further tell the stories that I was interested in telling. The animations below are all self-directed works that I illustrated, animated, and sound designed.

‘Obi-wan kenobi’ portraits
As an illustrator, I have always been drawn to painting portraits especially as a way to pay homage to some of my favorite pieces of entertainment. Having worked primarily in a more painterly style in the past, I have been working to explore a style that uses a reduced color palette and focuses more on mark making and texture. Below is a series of three portraits that resulted from this exploration based on the ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Disney+ series.
